Thảo is professional and has immaculate vibes. She's an incredibly dedicated teacher whose enthusiasm for Vietnamese culture, language, and cuisine is contagious. Her English could easily be mistaken for a native American-speaker which has been extremely helpful for me in learning Vietnamese starting at knowing nothing for an upcoming travel trip. She crafts lessons for individual needs and she is extremely patient. I thoroughly enjoyed my time learning SO MUCH about Hanoi through the lens of a local, which I would not have learned by reading Reddit. Thank you for all your time, especially the lessons that went over time just to help me learn and get awesome food tips! Em cảm ơn!

I took 6 lessons altogether(including trial session) which were useful and fun, not being too heavy. I really liked her choosing the right materials for me and helping me practice some useful key expressions repeatedly every session. I appreciate her giving me information in Vietnamease culture as well as language. 여행 목적으로 기초 회화를 배웠습니다. 기본적인 발음 학습 후 간단한 자기 소개나 숫자 등의 중요한 표현을 수업마다 반복해서 익힐 수 있도록 하고, 그 외에 음식이나 여행 중 활동에 대한 것들을 조금씩 끼워서 알려 주십니다. 마지막으로 짧은 과제를 내주셔서 복습할 수 있도록 해주는데, 양이 많지 않아서 부담은 없었습니다. 맛집이나 현지 음식 먹는 법, 현지에서 하면 좋은 것(한국어로 검색해서 잘 찾아볼 수 없었던 것들) 등등 꿀팁도 같이 얻어볼 수 있었습니다. 저는 베트남어 기초가 없어서 회화 위주가 아닌 기초 어학 위주로 수업했는데, 회화 위주로 하고 싶으시면 선생님과 서로 협의해보시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 저는 영어 실력이 별로지만 선생님이 영어를 아주 잘하셔서 수업에 큰 무리가 없었습니다. 다음번에는 선생님에게 영어 회화도 배워 볼 생각입니다.😊

She always choose the right topics. I'm glad to learn not only the language skills but also Vietnamese cultures. During the conversation various words to memorize come out in natural way and I can happily run my brain to make them mine. (I failed it today though lol) Thanks for giving me nice lessons and making me a good day.

She is the best English teacher I've ever had. Her English is amazing, even though it's not her native language. And if that wasn't enough, her clases are incredibly fun and hilarious. I highly recommend her.

It was my first time learning Vietnamese. The explanation is easy to understand even though my English is not so fluent. I expect my English and Vietnamese would go better at the same time.😊
