Hello, my name is Elaheh Azami, author of "Teaching Beyond Borders: Lessons from Teaching English Internationally".
Six years ago, I began teaching English internationally on Italki. Since then, I've taught over 10,000 students and engaged in thousands of hours of conversations.
These experiences have helped me see people as individuals beyond their backgrounds and value our shared humanity.

I am a Persian native speaker and a Certificated Professional English and Persian teacher with a university degree in Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and also certificated in Pedagogies & Strategies. I have over 15 years English and Persian teaching experience to Kids, teenagers, and adults. I also have over 6 years experience in teaching students online delivered private lessons and classes. I can describe myself as a warm and caring teacher who wants all learners to be successful.
