Hi everyone!
My name is Silvia, I am an English teacher from Italy and foreign languages are my passion.
I would like to be your English tutor and help you reach your goal! :)
Whether you need English for work or your studies, for travel or just because you aren't confident and you are afraid to make mistakes during conversations I am here to make you improve!
I graduated in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017 and, after that, I have successfully taken the CELTA course.
Some of my hobbies are: watching movies, art and travelling. I love meeting new people from all over the world and getting to know more about their cultures as well.

As a teacher, I would describe myself as passionate, understanding and patient.
I have taught both online and in-person classes to students of different ages, levels and purposes.
I have experience both in teaching general English and in Cambridge exam preparation (KET, PET, FCE).

I make engaging lessons, in which the students can both have fun and practice the new language.
I believe that the teacher shouldn't talk more than the students and I also believe that PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. This is why I focus on written but especially on spoken practice of the new language that we see or revise together during my lessons.Mijn lesmateriaal

Silvia has been a very big help in my journey with learning Italian, her patience, versatility and understanding sets her apart from other teachers.
There's good variety with her teaching, During conversation she'll take notes to revise your mistakes afterwards at the end of your session and if you want a more technical lesson she'll use exercise lessons for the area of the language you want to improve with.
If you have difficulty in an area, she'll tailor your next lesson to focus more on those difficulties if you let her know in advance.
Overall I had a great experience and would easily recommend her as a teacher

Very good instructor, and more importantly a good person with a pleasant personality. Also sophisticated and stylish. Listens and corrects your mistakes on the spot or after you’re done talking. I highly recommend her!
