Oussama

Oussama is a great listener and also has a really good perspective about the language learning process in general and the types of things students should consider when choosing one dialect over the other or when builidng speaking/listening vs reading/writing skills.

Oussama is a fantastic teacher. I really enjoyed this lesson because we covered speaking, reading and listening to Darija, all while having a fun time. I immediately could tell he is very knowledgeable and he puts a lot of thought into learning and teaching languages. I'm looking forward to our next lesson.

Oussama is not my first teacher on italki but he is the best. He gave me a lot of options for how we can structure the lesson. He is very supportive. I think it is important that the teacher corrects someone if he makes mistakes but if the teacher overcorrects the flow of the conversation is disturbed. In my opinion Oussama found a very very good balance.

I had a great first lesson with Oussama. He knows where and why an arabic learner may struggle and it is clear he has put a lot of thought into understanding the structure of his own language. Looking forward to learning with him :)
