Hello! I'm Diana, a friendly, patient, and flexible person. I love teaching Spanish because it's such a beautiful language. Currently, I'm studying English and have reached level B2, which could help us communicate if needed. I enjoy learning about new cultures and sharing insights about my own. With a background in business administration, Spanish teaching, and professional culinary studies a couple of years ago, I have a wide knowledge base in various areas that might interest you. My teaching method is primarily conversation-based, aimed at helping you overcome the fear of speaking Spanish through practice. Depending on your level, we'll focus on improving your pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing (if desired), based on your interests and goals. I tailor lessons to suit your specific needs, providing a personalized and effective learning experience.

My classes are really flexible! We engage in authentic conversations on a variety of topics that interest you. During our sessions, we correct errors and expand your vocabulary using Google Docs or chat, depending on your preferences. We explore a wide range of topics, address grammar issues, and practice conversations on topics we've covered together. Additionally, I provide supportive material for more challenging topics, including Google presentations, books, articles, images, role-playing games, and various online exercises tailored to your interests. Diana keeps track of the suggestions and corrections to my vocabulary and phrasing during our free form conversation, then reviews them with me towards the end of the lesson and sends them to me in google docs. Part of the lesson is grammar, currently the how and when of the subjunctive, and I ask for homework because she sends very useful and never tedious exercises with explanations.

Diana is an amazing Spanish instructor. Our kids are learning SO much. I love the fact that Diana tailors the lessons to each kid’s interests and abilities. Every class is fun and full of great conversation, grammar and comprehension. I have noticed how each of my kids has improved in listening and speaking Spanish. Lessons with Diana are truly priceless! 😊

Diana is hands down the best language instructor I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. First and foremost, she is wicked smart and truly knows her Spanish inside and out. This is absolutely essential for any student who wants to gain a deep understanding of the language, and Diana nails it every time.
On top of being an expert in her field, she's also incredibly fun and easy to talk to. In fact, my days always get a little brighter when I know I have a class with Diana. Over the years, she's not just been an instructor, but she has also become a genuine friend, and I'm so grateful for the connection we’ve built.
What really sets Diana apart, though, is how much she goes above and beyond for her students. She makes sure that each student gets the support they need, no matter what. For me, she’s always there with extra effort—whether it’s providing corrections in the Skype chat, sharing new vocabulary, or being patient through every step of the learning process.
