Stop scrolling. You have just found the PERFECT TEACHER! Why is Lucía the best? Of course, a nice, smiling, empathetic, & engaging teacher is a must & she has all of those qualities and more! But what makes her stand out is that she has a strong knowledge of grammar & verb conjugation. As you advance in a language, grammar is the key to advance and sound more native like. The subtle differences in a sentence are important. Imagine somebody learning English & they wanted to say, “I used to walk to work everyday; then, all of a sudden…” however, they instead said, “I walked to work everyday; then, all of a sudden…” it just doesn’t have the same context. Details are important. All other teachers here know this first hand; but, explaining it is something else entirely. How many times have you been asked, “How do you know to say this instead of that?” & you say, “I don’t know, I just do.” Well, she definitely knows and has many examples! Es decir, she is in the know & can help you! 5 Stars!

I have taken Lucia's classes for over a year and she is always very professional. She encourages me to speak during the conversation part of the class by asking me open ended questions. She has taken the time to learn what vocabulary is relevant to my life and job. She is patient and supportive when I am struggling to think of the words. Lucia is very knowledgeable about grammar. She explains things clearly in English or in Spanish depending on how comfortable I am with the grammar terms. She put in a lot of thought and effort to make my learning journey successful. I will continue to take classes from her

Lucía is an amazing teacher! I came to her Spanish lessons as an absolute beginner and I really appreciate her structured approach to grammar. All of the nuances of the language are explained in lots of detail and Lucía always provides extra support with follow-up tasks/homework for me to practice. I have studied many languages in the past but studying with Lucía has been a truly exceptional experience and I am super happy with the speed of my progress in Spanish.

Thankfully I am able to have my kid’s lesson while I work because they have become so comfortable with Lucia. We can now maximize our time off when I am not working.
