Hi there. My name is Lena and I can't wait to meet you. I was born and raised in Germany. I absolutely love the sun and the sea which makes it sometimes difficult for me to stay in Germany for the winter, that's why you can often find me in South America, escaping the cold. I started my career as a primary teacher in Berlin where I was always surrounded by many different languages, teaching German and mathematics.
When I'm not teaching, I'm surrounded by my Spanish speaking friends talking, dancing and drinking mate. If it's a really good day you can find me next to any kind of natural water enjoying the sun.Ik als leerkracht
I know what's like to be a student of languages, (I've learned Spanish, English and a bit of Portuguese) so having this in mind I would like to help you find your best way possible to learn German. I really enjoy teaching topics like idioms and frases you often use because it allows us to have a closer understanding of the language and the culture of those who speak it. I love to compare the languages I speak to transmit the joy of speaking more than just one language because every languages has its own beauty. I put a focus on speaking, listening and writing. I do my best to only teach grammar if it's necessary or you would like to know. But if you want to know more about structure and linguistics of the German language I'm very happy to teach you that as well because in my opinion it's something beautiful to know about every language.
