Hi everyone! My name is Alani Sugar, and I am excited to help you learn or improve your English! I am also a language learner, studying Spanish, so I know what it feels like to be on the students side. I am also a musician, I play the violin and other stringed instruments. I also love writing blogs and articles. I teach students how to speak informal english confidently. I am a natural teacher with years of teaching experience, and my students often tell me that I am very patient and a good communicator. I am passionate and invested in my work and I love seeing my students succeed. I would love to work with you to help you improve your english!

For my structured classes, I use materials from LinguaHouse, Engoo, various other online resources, and I occasionally make my own materials.
I teach:
- Informal Tutoring, for people who want to practice conversation or bring their own materials to work on with me
- General English, for teenagers and adults who would like guidance and structure from me, as the teacher. I will plan lessons based on your interests and goals in order to strengthen your overall english ability over time.
- English For Kids, for children age 6-12 who are like to learn english through games, songs, and engaging activities.
