Hello! My name is Hannah, and I’m a native English speaker from the UK.
Apart from tutoring lots of lovely people, I also like to spend my time reading, making handicrafts, cooking, baking and travelling. I’ve travelled to many places in and around Asia and Europe and have spent time living abroad. I love experiencing different sceneries, cultures, foods and taking photos along the way.
I’ve been learning Mandarin Chinese for a number of years, so I understand the challenges and rewards of learning a foreign language.Ik als leerkracht
I have TQUK level 5 TEFL certificate. I have been teaching on italki since 2020, before that I privately tutored English learners of various different ages, from as young as 3 through to adults. Most of my students come from China or Japan. From my experience I have found that Chinese and Japanese students are very committed learners and are a pleasure to teach.
I am a patient and supportive teacher and aim to make my students feel relaxed during the lesson. I want you to enjoy your learning experience and feel like you’ve achieved something by the end of each lesson. Trial Lesson ~ The aim of the trail lesson is to meet and check out your English level & learning needs and goals.
Conversation Practice / Free-talk ~ My main lessons are based on having informal conversation on any topic that interests you. This will give you the chance to practice and improve your spoken English in a relaxed environment. Please don’t worry about making mistakes, the more you talk the more I can help you correct any errors. As with any language some things have to be said in a set way, but many thoughts and ideas can be expressing in a variety of ways. I can help you with both of these areas.Mijn lesmateriaal
