I'm Najma, a native Indonesian speaker, worked as a marketing in some startup and currently studying. I have passionate about languages, travel, foodies, nature, workout, and mindfulness. i was born and live in Jakarta, a capital city of Indonesia. I have been learn english since i was 6, for now i'm learning french, and just passed DELF test level A2.

As someone that lives in a metropolitan city, i've met peoples from different ethnic groups, social strata, and different cultural traditions. So, i keen to help you to learn my native language, and unlock the potential of you to be able to speak bahasa Indonesia whether for travel,business,living,or your needs.

Speaking 3 languages made me know how challenging it is to learn something new, especially language. however, these abilities have made me adapt quickly in a new environment and bring me a new area of confidence. I am confident in my ability to teach with creative ideas for you.
Everyone has different needs, and everyone comes from different situations. So, I am flexibly focusing on these needs to find lessons that can be useful and suits you best!
I will eager to make you speak a lot. the more mistakes you make, the better you can improve and learn ;)

my teaching style is engaging-relaxed method but still organized, we'll discuss and identify your exact needs during our first lesson, and also decide which level you should be. I will use Google Doc during classes because it can be edit real-time by both side, very easy, has many useful features like grammar correction, spelling, etc. Both sides can track the progress on the file, and assignments.
Beside that, for teaching materials I will use Indonesian grammar book, textbook for foreign speaker, and also BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing-Indonesian Language for Foreigners) an Indonesian language skills learning program including speaking, writing, reading, and listening.Mijn lesmateriaal

Najma is a very nice and competent teacher. Her lessons are interesting and fun.
As a native speaker she obviously knows Indonesian well, but her English is also very good, which helps me lot as I do no understand everything in bahasa yet. Highly recommended!
