Hugo es un buen profe! Hace correcciones de mis exámenes y pasamos los vocabularios y las frases útiles cada clase, que me ayudan mucho a preparar para el examen. También hacemos conversaciones de temas actuales. Me parece bastante curioso charlar de los asuntos relevantes:))

In my eyes, Hugo is an excellent teacher. He is super friendly and open. In conversations, he takes notes and gives feedback after. Like this, the conversations are not interrupted but I can still see my own mistakes and he helps me correct them. I also liked very much that he prepares a lot of visual aids - he is very talented in graphic design! Learning a language with Hugo is much more fun than I ever thought learning could be. I’m looking forward to the next class with him!

As a PhD student from the University of Cambridge, my expectations (regarding the methods of teaching, the material employed, and the interaction with the teacher) are usually quite high when I start learning a new language. Hugo not only lift up to these expectations, but, at times, exceeded them. I started Spanish with no knowledge of the language whatsoever and, after only 10 classes, I was able to both write my first short texts and offer full-fledged answers to his questions. Apart from that, every class feels more like a meeting with a good friend, which undoubtedly changes the whole experience for the better. Needless to say at this point, I wholeheartedly recommend Hugo as a Spanish teacher!

Great first lesson! Hugo is a nice and patient tutor. He made an effort to assess my level and push me to talk in Spanish even though I did not feel very confident at first. I already learnt a few things today and together we drew a plan for the next weeks with my goals. Looking forward for our next lesson :)
