I am a 22-year-old college student. I was born in Fujian, China. I had living in China for 15 years. I currently living and studying in Hong Kong. I speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. I can also speak English. I moved to Hong Kong when I was 18 years old. I know effective ways to learn a new language. I have enough patience to help you improve Chinese. I have several teaching experiences, which gave me a certain understanding of Mandarin teaching. I practiced Mandarin for a few students. I found that beginner Mandarin learners always have difficulties in using Mandarin in conversation, so I think Chinese Elementary learners need to avoid using their own mother tongue as much as possible, and speak Mandarin as much as possible.
我有几次教学的经验，令我对于普通话的教学有一定的认识，我为几名学生进行普通话的练习，我发现初级普通话学习者总是在运用普通话对话时遇到困难，因此我认为中文初级学习者需要尽可能地不去使用自己的母语，并且尽量讲普通话。

My course focuses on students’ best and grammar. I will guide students to communicate on different topics and try to select a few topics that students pay attention to for communication. I can also use word documents to help students correct sentences and consolidate what they have learned that day. Knowledge of Mandarin.

Laura is an amazing teacher. She provided plenty of examples to make sure I understood the meaning of the words I did not understand. She also was very professional and guided me through watching and listening a video. It was a really wonderful 1 hour lesson! 谢谢老师！

Honestly, I was nervous about this because it was my first time using italki but Laura was so encouraging and made learning Hokkien very comfortable. I was happy to meet with her and was able to learn a lot of phrases to use with my grandparents. Thank you Laura!

Laura's classes are laid-back and enjoyable, and you also learn some points about Mandarin. She's one of the only teachers to consistently work on my pronunciation, so this is good too. Highly recommended..:)
