HELLO!
My name is Eva and I’m a native Swede. I’ve been teaching English and Swedish for the last twelve years.
I have had over 4000 lessons in Italki and I have gathered a lot of understanding about the different needs from teaching Swedish to a teenager or to a PhD student.
I'm here to help you learn Swedish in a fun and stimulating way and I believe that
having a good and open communication with each one of my students is the most important thing.
I love learning new languages and I hope that I can transmit this to my students.
I’ve lived in Sweden, Israel, South Africa and Spain.
I teach English and Swedish but I’m also fluent in Hebrew and Spanish.Ik als leerkracht
I’ve been learning how to speak a language in different ways (traditional- in school and natural-like a child) and the natural way is by far the most stimulating and motivating way.
My classes will be mostly conversational because that is the most efficient way to reach your goal: To Speak Swedish! We will personalize every class to your abilities and goals. I can help you with everything from grammar, preparation for Swedish exams, new vocabulary etc.
I am patient and understanding, I have been where you are, the hardest is to begin!

We will work with articles, work sheets, books, role plays…. whatever works best for you to make progress and gain confidence to speak English or Swedish.
I will share my books and material with you and I create an individual google doc with each one of my students where we keep all your progress up to date. I'm flexible and open-minded and I promise you that all your questions and doubts will be solved.
I'm sure that you will find the material that I have both fun and learning at the same time.

Eva is super upbeat and very effective in her sessions. It feels a great use of time and I would highly recommend for those who are interested in committing to improving their language skills. Do your share, practice with Eva, and move forward towards a better command of your intended language (Swedish in my case). Highly satisfied! :-)

As I already speak a bit of Swedish, it was important for me to talk as much as possible, having the possibility of asking questions in between when I didn't remember a word or when I was looking for a yet unknown expression. This was working very well, Eva listened patiently and gave me the information I needed. Also, the communication was well-balanced in the sense that she asked me some questions from time to time, keeping the dialogue running. Further, I recieved some hints regarding Swedish textbooks and music I can listen to via internet. I am looking forward to the next lesson which will take place soon.
