My name is Alice, I am an Italian tutor on italki and I am 22 years old. I speak Italian, English and Norwegian, but I am also learning Spanish (and trying to learn Icelandic!). I come from the province of Padua, but I studied in Milan for three years. I studied foreign languages and literatures, but I prefer linguistics over literature. That is why I have a rather scientific approach to languages when I try to learn a new one. I also love reading very much and I am quite curious. I like discovering new things and hear different opinions and experiences from others, so I am sure that teaching on italki will be an opportunity for both of us!

I would recommend taking classes with Alice if you want to achieve both fluency and accuracy. I started learning Italian seriously back in May 2021 and was very lucky to have found Alice as a teacher here on iTalki. It is important to me to find a tutor who can create a carefree environment for me to practice speaking and at the same time provide a framework that would direct me on the path of improving my overall linguistic abilities, these qualities were all deciding factors for me when I chose to take long-term classes with Alice after just 1 lesson. Alice is a delight to talk to. As a teacher, she is very curious, patient and thorough. During our conversations I make plenty of mistakes, however, she only corrects me in the moment when absolutely necessary so I don’t lose my confidence, otherwise, she sends notes after class that detail the words and phrases that need improving. Grazie per tutto quello che mi hai insegnato!

Alice is a caring, patient and professional teacher. She gives me time to think, to correct myself and helps me when necessary. I cannot recommend Alice enough, she is wroth every dollar, if you are serious about learning Italian, book a lesson with her. I have used many teachers on italki and she is hands down one of the best on this platform. Grazie per il tuo aiuto Alice!!

Tutto è andato bene con nostra lezione. É sempre molto divertente parlare con Alice. Sento que con lei posso parlare sopa qualsiasi argomento, persino Come fare la birra e lei mi fornische le espressione correlate (imbuto, lupolli, traversare, fiasca, birra fatta in casa o la spina etc). È stato un vero piacere, ci vediamo presto.
