I am a friendly, creatively minded person. I have been an entertainer for over twenty years, beginning with music and moving into the performing arts and circus along the way. I have played drums for twenty five years and love the energy of rhythmic music, from jazz to heavy metal and everything in between. I have traveled extensively as a living statue and juggler and I love to meet people from around the world, to discover new cultures and swap stories of far flung places and fun adventures.Ik als leerkracht
I am a very patient teacher, who is kind and relaxed. However, I am enthusiastic about learning and enjoy a lively conversation and laughter. I encourage my students to feel comfortable to express themselves. I prefer to teach conversational, general or business English and I prefer working with intermediate to advanced level students. However, I am willing to work on more structured material (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, phonetics, idioms etc) if that is what a student would like to learn.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My lessons are focused on confidence and fluency, but there will be plenty of error correction! I encourage students to feel comfortable to make the mistakes which are necessary for progress. My lessons are tailored to suit the students as individuals on their own path. I am a patient and easy going teacher who delights in seeing students improve their English. My lessons reflect this and are a calm but fun experience.

It was a very pleasant lesson with David today. As ever, he provided a nice and accurate balance between learning and enjoyment, which created a unique immersive atmosphere where I felt free to practise and learn through conversation. English is becoming more familiar to me on each and every lesson, and it is thanks to David, to his constant patience and support, to his generosity in sharing words and tips.
