Eu comecei a dar aulas no início da pandemia como uma maneira de me conectar com a comunidade de pessoas apaixonadas por idiomas. Desde então, aprimorei minhas habilidades de ensino e criei diversos materiais didáticos para ajudar pessoas interessadas em aprender português.

Conversar é uma das minhas coisas favoritas, e é uma ótima ferramenta para treinar um idioma. Sou paciente, curiosa e ajudo com gentileza (não vou te interromper o tempo todo!), habilidades essenciais para as minhas aulas de conversação. Para iniciantes e intermediários, ofereço aulas estruturadas que incluem diversas atividades.
Chatting is one of my favorite things, and it's a great tool for practicing a language. I'm patient, curious and I assist with kindness (I won't interrupt you all the time!), which are essential skills for my "conversation practice" lessons. Marina is seriously amazing. She is a remarkable teacher and has many thoughtful ways of giving her students methods for review. She is resourceful, patient, and very knowledgeable in the art of teaching as well as having an amazing grasp of English and Portuguese. I highly recommend you take lessons with her and you will see that she stands apart from others in both depth and breadth as well as a talented teacher. You seriously need to take lessons with her!

I really appreciate the way that Marina has helpful materials prepared in advance for our lesson. She really targets topics that are helpful to me, and provides a good balance of presenting the topic, modeling the language, and giving me time to practice. In addition to this, she gives very personalized feedback that I feel I'm immediately able to both understand and apply to improving my Portuguese!

Class finished a bit early. Marina has developed a habit of watching the clock and rushing a few concepts. I think there is room to let the student speak in a more natural fashion. Slightly over structured and very academic.

I was so impressed by how well-prepared Marina was for our first lesson. She asked me a couple questions in advance to help determine the best approach for our lesson, and carefully utilized the lesson time to address my biggest learning needs. I look forward to booking further lessons with Marina to improve my Brazilian Portuguese!
