Hello! I am Shoko, a professional Japanese teacher. I've been teaching Japanese for more than 6 years. I am qualified and try to make all the content easy to understand. In addition, I always keep in mind to make my lessons fun, and cozy, and never make you nervous to speak Japanese.
Beginner language learners tend to feel nervous about speaking and become less confident because of teachers' too much correction. I never make you feel like that! Please relax and enjoy Japanese :)

Shoko-Sensei’s classes are always so good! She provides the same questions at the beginning of each class so I can get into the practice of how to answer. The topics she comes up with are very useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend her, especially if you’re new to Japanese

ありがとうございました！Another great lesson with しょこ先生。This week Shoko taught me more kanji, we did a JLPT N5 kanji review, reviewed the より、のほうが comparisons and learnt how to conjugate adjectives into the くて、で forms! また来週ね！

I’ve had a few lessons and I already feel confident and motivated. Shoko 先生 always takes the time to make sure I understand everything and answers my questions thoroughly. Shoko 先生 is a very patient and understanding tutor! I am continuing to take classes with her because she is very flexible with what we practice and go over. I know I can ask her any Japanese question I may have and learn something new. Conversation in another language may be hard, but Shoko 先生 makes it fun!
