There is a well-known quote โAs many languages you know, that many times you are a human
beingโ. In Georgian it sounds like this โแ แแแแแแ แแแแช แแชแ แแแแแแ แแแแแแแแ แฎแแ โ.
Based on this saying I'm 2 and a half person. Georgian is my native language and of course I know it, English may not be as fluent as desired but quite enough to communicate with you, and a little bit of Russian.
My name is Mari and I am here to help you to learn Georgian.
My husband and I have a tourist company, and for years I had the opportunity to communicate with foreigners from different countries. I enjoy the communication and sharing parts of our culture with people from all around the world.Ik als leerkracht
A few years ago a friend of mine advised me to try my luck as a Georgian teacher. Nowadays I think that it was one of the most interesting challenges in my life, before that I had never been a teacher.
And my adventure started โฆ On this journey, I met a lot of interesting people from different countries.
In my lessons, every time I find something new and I am growing as a teacher. Fantastic feeling of pride and joy becomes more and more present when I see how my students enjoy the process of forming themselves into a Georgian speaking person, finding a new way to express themselves and that always gives me extra motivation to go on.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
There are three directions that I use:
I โ Basic Georgian. Here you will learn the Georgian alphabet. Reading, writing, speaking, and also we will discuss Georgian grammar.
II โ Essential phrases and dialogs. This direction is designed for tourists. I mean you will learn the words like this: hello - แแแแแ แฏแแแ, good bye - แแแฎแแแแแแก, how are you - แ แแแแ แฎแแ , nice to meet you...
III โ Reading and speaking. Itโs for students who already know Georgian and who want to improve their knowledge.
My classes are individual. So you can organize and tell me what you want, how you want to learn.

I am studying Georgian with Mari few months now and she is really the best teacher! I have already made a big progress and also every lesson, I have so much fun. I am sure that under her guidance, I will be able to speak fluently Georgian in no time! Madloba Mari!

I had a great first Georgian lesson with Mari! She taught me how to say and write a number of letters, taught me a dozen or so words using those letters, then added in a few basic phrases. Iโm excited to learn more from Mari, she is a wealth of information and a great teacher.
