I currently live in Toronto, Canada, but grew up in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, so my first languages are standard Japanese and Kansai dialects. So, once we get to know each other, we can speak in the Kansai dialect if you like. :)
I enjoy reading, watching movies, traveling, karaoke, and more!
Lately, I've been into some anime and drama.
As for my personality, I’m bright and friendly. Moreover, I enjoy conversing with people.
If you are starting to learn Japanese from scratch, or just wondering if you should learn it or not, don’t worry about it. With me, there is no pressure to learn Japanese.
Let’s practice and enjoy Nihongo! :)

On top of regular grammar topics, I learned plenty of new grammar from casual conversation with Haruka-san. Lessons have been fun! ^^ Thank you!

Haruka-san is kind, patient, and very good at explaining grammatical concepts -- learning from her is a joy! She's flexible and willing to speed up or slow down the pace as needed. I really enjoy my lessons, and highly recommend her as a teacher!

Today’s lesson started with casual conversation about our recent life. Haruka-san then reviewed “potential form” with me and taught me the usage of “Masu-form + ように”. I’m happy that now I can use wider variety of sentence structures in conversation. I am very grateful for Haruka-san's enthusiasm and patience teaching me. 😊
