Sheyla Bravo Guido

This month marks one year since I started working with Sheyla and I feel like my Spanish has greatly improved! I used to worry so much about making mistakes in conversations but Sheyla is so kind, patient when I get stuck, and incredibly easy to talk to that I don’t even worry about my mistakes anymore. I’ve learned so many new words and phrases through our conversations and have truly enjoyed being able to talk about a wide range of topics. She has also been such an encouragement when I’ve questioned my Spanish ability. Sheyla’s fantastic!

I had been learning Spanish for the last seven months and had hardly used this language in conversation until I met Sheyla in italki. I was filled with so much nervousness even before the lesson began. When she appeared on screen and opened up the lesson the atmosphere changed dramatically. She was able to control my nervousness with her charismatic touch, my anxiety soon diminished. As the lesson progressed I found myself speaking Spanish without any sense of fear even though there were a lot of errors. She was always there to capture my mistakes and to make corrections Through her encouragement and the touch of her charisma, I was full of confidence to bring my learning to the next level under her tutorship. A wonderful and amazing teacher who take pride in what she is doing and undoubtedly show great concern in her student progress, Te agradezco por ayudarme a Sheyla.

Sheyla and I always have the most interesting conversations. She is very sweet and my vocabulary and phrasing get a boost every time we talk.

I really recommend taking classes with Sheyla. It's very easy to talk with her about whatever topic and she explains more complex grammar structures very well.

Sheyla was a very good communicator in both English and Spanish, she was very good at meeting me at my current level (between beginner and intermediate), and she was friendly.

I always look forward to talking to Sheyla. She leads the conversation well when I don't know what to say. She is caring and adaptable. I never feel rushed and have space to ask questions. ¡Ella es una excelente profesora!
