I'm Stefanie, I'm 38 years old and I live in Bavaria, in Germany. I've always been interested in foreign languages and studied English and Spanish to be a translator, even though I work as a freelance teacher and artist these days. At the moment I'm learning Dutch and Polish, and I have a long list of other languages I still want to pick up. I'm also interested in art (mainly drawing), hiking, playing the piano, photography, and basically anything creative. I'm also a very tolerant and easy-going person.Ik als leerkracht
I'm a very patient teacher, because I'm learning languages myself and I know how frustrating it can be sometimes. I enjoy helping my students and I make sure my lessons are focused on you and your individual needs. In case you are struggling with listening comprehension, please don't worry, it is totally fine for me to speak extra slowly or repeat words as often as necessary.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I encourage you to actively use the language you are learning from the beginning as that is the best way to progress fast. Any mistakes are a chance to learn something new, and I want you to not be afraid of mistakes. I will always adapt the lessons to your needs. We will speak in German as much as possible, but we can always switch to English, Spanish or Dutch whenever it is needed.Mijn lesmateriaal

Steffi is a lifesaver for those of us people settling in Germany. I am being really honest here: it is difficult but she makes it seem way easier! She has a good knowledge of many languages also, which helps when you are struggling to express yourself. She is patient and kind and I am really happy to be her student!

Stef's great to work with. I'm struggling with conversing in German, forever making mistakes and talking slowly, but Steffi's very patient in letting me finish and explaining improvements. And she's great at finding new material and explaining nuances between words. I heartily recommend her.

Steffi is simply the best! I'm so happy I got to meet her and practice my German with her. She is knowledgeable in many fields as well so you can talk about many different things with her. She is open and fun too and a joy to work with!
