Hello! My name is Shota. I majored in English Linguistics at university. I have studied English since I was 6 and taught English to junior high school students for 4 years. I have lived in Canada for a year, so I'm available to teach Japanese in both English and Japanese. I offer grammar/vocabulary and conversational lessons, so you can learn depending on what you want. I like talking with someone, so we can talk about anything. Shōta is a very kind and understanding teacher! He has experience studying English and can easily connect difficult ideas in Japanese to something more familiar for English speakers. I'd definitely recommend his classes to anyone looking for a relaxing learning environment!

Though everything was a little rocky he always made sure that I wasn’t too hard on myself about trying to understand the lesson all at once. There’s laughs here and there but I understand the lesson. This is what fun learning really is.😊
