Hi! I'm Julia and I've been teaching Polish on italki for over 3 years. I graduated from Jagiellonian University with a degree in teaching Polish as a foreign language.

I always make sure that the atmosphere during my lessons is nice and relaxed. I pay attention to detail so all of my lessons are also well planned and structured at the same time. I make sure to tailor them to the student's needs and goals. I highly value feedback and I'm always open to suggestions.

Dbam o to, aby podczas lekcji panowała przyjazna atmosfera. Przywiązuję uwagę do szczegółów, dlatego dokładnie przygotowuję każdą lekcję i kieruję się wtedy potrzebami i celami uczniów. Doceniam feedback i zawsze jestem otwarta na propozycje i sugestie.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
During my lessons I like to use: professional coursebooks, online exercises, customised worksheets, games, articles, videos and quizzes - depending on the student's preferences and interests of course. I usually create a shared document and I encourage the student to use it for taking notes. When it comes to homework, it's optional but I'm happy to provide extra resources to practice between our lessons.
Na lekcjach używam: podręczników, ćwiczeń online, gier, artykułów, filmików, quizów. Zawsze dopasowuję je do osobistych preferencji i zainteresowań. Zwykle używam dokumentu, który oboje możemy edytować i robić w nim notatki. Zadanie domowe jest opcjonalne.Mijn lesmateriaal

PraktykantkaProwadziłam zajęcia w grupach słowiańskich i niesłowiańskich (m.in. azjatyckich i mieszanych) na różnych poziomach zaawansowania. Przygotowywałam konspekty lekcji, materiały dydaktyczne i autorskie aktywności. Współpracowałam z doświadczonymi nauczycielami w celu opanowania metod nauczania języka polskiego jako obcego.

Bachelor’s - Polonistyka-komparatystykaW trakcie studiów ukończyłam takie przedmioty jak gramatyka języka polskiego, kultura języka polskiego, warsztat językowy (kompozycja, edycja i korekta tekstu), a także związane z teorią i historią literatury. Dzięki specjalizacji komparatystycznej poznałam największe dzieła kultury (literatura, muzyka, sztuki plastyczne) Europy i świata, a także rozwijałam swoje umiejętności językowe (j. hiszpański i angielski).

Julia is a great teacher, very patient, helpful and calm. I had an amazing time during our conversations! Her calm personality always contributed to a peaceful lesson. She helped when necessary and when she saw I was unsure, repeating slowly or writing down the words and phrases. I highly recommend her for anyone who is learning Polish!
