My name is Job, and Dutch is my native language.
I can help you with all the basics of speaking, reading, writing, listening and grammar. I can also help you pass exams that require Dutch, like your inburgeringscursus (NT2 or CNAVT). I can teach students from A1 up to B2 level. Also, I passed for my TEFL for the English language, so there will be no problem with explaining the Dutch language.

My materials comprise of speaking, writing, grammar, reading and listening.
Here's a normal lesson plan with me; A1-B2;
- Vocabulary (A2-B2 (5-15min): discussing new learned verbs/words or talking about recent days.
- Pronunciation (A1-A2) (10-15 min): reading a short story and building on vocabulary and articulation.
- Writing (A2-B2) (15 min): Q and A sessions where I write your answers down and further discuss sentence structures and mistakes.
- Speaking (A2-B2) (20-40 min): eloquently answering questions which are commonly asked in the exams or free talking to practice general conversations.
- Listening (A2-B2) (10-15 min): listening to an audio and answer questions.

Job helped me a lot during my Inburgering exam preparation. He really helped me with specific parts of the exam and gave me a strategy on how to pass them one by one. We only discussed grammar when I made mistakes during conversations or while solving tests, which was the most optimal way for me. So I think Job used our time 100% effectively to help me achieve my main goal - the exams. I am very grateful to Job and will definitely come back to him if I need to learn more Dutch and will also recommend him to my friends.

My first ever lesson on italki was with Job! It was very well structured, and he presented clear agendas for future lessons that lined up with my goals for learning dutch. Job is a wonderful teacher! My goal is to prepare for the civic integration exam within a couple of months, and with Job’s help I was able to pass test examination only after one month of preparation. I couldn’t recommend him more.

In just a couple weeks, I can already read and speak quite a lot more than I ever expected at this point. Job’s teaching style really helps me build fluency without even realizing it! We focus not only on grammar and vocabulary but more of the speaking in natural conversation which has helped me tremendously. Job is also very fun and adapts to my needs while noticing where I struggle to truly target my weak areas. I will keep working with Job to build my confidence and ability in dutch.
