Satomi

Satomi is incredibly patient and kind. She took time to get to know where I'm coming from and what I want to learn and recommended resources for self study in between lessons as well. She is lots of fun, and I'm looking forward to the next lesson!

I'm at the beginning phase with having conversations in Japanese so it can be a bit scary. Having a teacher like Satomi san is really comforting and encouraging. Satomi-San is great at leading conversations that is challenging but comfortable for my level. I don't feel stress talking with her at all. She is engaging and takes her time explaining many words and phrases that I do not understand. I like that she uses the chatbox for vocabulary and phrases that we use during our conversation. It makes it easy for me to go over it after our lesson. Thank you for being patient with me!

Satomi-san is a great teacher and very clear in her explanations! I highly recommend!!

I very much enjoy my conversations with Satomi. She challenges me and I learn a lot. It helps me to begin to feel more comfortable with conversation in Japanese.

I really enjoy talking with Satomi-sensei. For some reason, we always have something to discuss, which allows me to focus on improving my speaking skills rather than worrying about keeping the conversation going. Thanks to that I’ve also noticed improvement in my Japanese speaking skills and my overall confidence in my Japanese!

I really recommend taking lessons with Satomi-sensei! I always enjoy the conversation and she always gives me great advice on the things I’m worried about lol
