Jessica Lai

Jessica is methodical and meticulous in her work, and she also makes it interesting. She has profound thoughts and a wide range of perspectives, which often serve as a starting point for me to come up with some creative ideas, making the classroom content very rich and substantial.

Since I’ve been sick, I didn’t study Cantonese for several weeks. She gave me a review that I learned before in this lesson. I felt that helped me catch up.

Best language teacher I’ve had. Very calming and patient. I miss up a lot and i dont remember what she just taught me yet she never gets frustrated just waits patiently. I really appreciate this!

Jessica is friendly and made me feel comfortable during the class. I really enjoyed the time with her and am willing to keep having classes with her.

Jessica really pushes my language practice to its limits! At the moment we are learning basic sentences and vocabulary and she encourages me to put it to use and try to make new sentences, not just rote repetition. Just when I feel like I’m overloaded, she pulls back and allows me to marinate in what we’ve learned before diving back in and working on conversation again. If you want to move quickly and learn a lot, I highly recommend Jessica!
