Jana is an excellent teacher! Each lesson she is prepared with engaging materials and is very encouraging. I started with almost no knowledge of the Slovak language, and she was able to start from the very beginning and made me feel super comfortable asking any questions. It is intimidating learning a new language one to one with an instructor. That fear evaporates soon into a lesson with Jana. She is patient, knowledgeable, positive and fun. You look forward to a lesson and not dreading it. She is excellent at maintaining a conversation at whatever language level you are at. Corrections seem much more like gentle suggestions. With her lessons she incorporates a contemporaneous document where explanations of words, grammar or usage are given and can referred back to later. She has an abundance of additional learning resources to assist learning.

Working with Jana is fantastic! She really makes every effort to customize each lesson. She does a great job helping practice different skills ( speaking, reading, listening, grammar) all at once and during each and every lesson. She’s extremely professional and always makes each lesson fun. Highly recommend for anyone learning Slovak

I have had several lessons with Jana and I can honestly say she is an amazing tutor. I've learned so much in a small amount of time. If you're looking for a Slovak tutor, she is the way to go!
