I used to be a Chinese teacher in public primary schools, and an English teacher at the largest training institution in Shanghai for many years. So I have accumulated a wealth of teaching materials and different teaching methods. I have a CET-4 certificate, so there is basically no problem communicating with students. I have a Mandarin Level 2 A certificate and have worked in Shanghai for many years, so Mandarin is very standard. I also have a teacher qualification certificate and have worked as a teacher in public and institutional settings, so I have rich teaching experience.

At that time, he had been taking some Chinese lessons with a native Spanish speaker. However, I found that his teacher was making some mistakes and realized I could be his Chinese teacher. Since our common language is English, this also gave me an opportunity to practice my English language skills. I discovered that I could use pinyin to help my friend pronounce Chinese correctly. The Chinese language is very different from other languages - both in grammar and pronunciation. This is why I teach my students step by step, in a fun and relaxed way. :)
