Passionate German teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience Since 2006, I have been teaching German as a foreign language in Taipei, Taiwan to Chinese native speakers. Because I had had an interest in the Chinese language and culture for many years, in 2005 I moved to Taiwan to learn Mandarin Chinese. At some point during my stay I had to start looking for work and ended up teaching German at a local language center. Right from the start I loved teaching German and since then have kept on working as a language instructor with a passion, gaining experience over the years and keeping up with improving my skills and expanding my knowledge up to this day.

I have worked as an English teacher for 5 years. I graduated from the University as a teacher.

Ich unterrichte seit mehr als 15 Jahren an verschiedenen Schulen SchülerInnen unterschiedlichen Alters. Zurzeit unterrichte ich an einer Grundschule und einem Gymnasium. Ich habe daher sowohl Erfahrungen im Unterrichten von Kindern als auch Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen. Auf Grund meiner Unterrichtserfahrung und eigenen beruflichen Erfahrungen kann ich in vielen verschiedenen Bereichen helfen: Kurse für Kinder und Jugendliche, allgemeine Sprachkurse, Schreibtraining, Konversationstraining, Deutsch für den Beruf (Büro und Tourismus), akademisches Schreiben, Wissenschaftssprache etc. Ich bin eine sehr geduldige und positive Person und möchte, dass meine SchülerInnen Freude beim Lernen haben!

Russian is my 3rd strongest language, and although I have no certificates confirming that, I can teach you that language up to a pretty high level, as you can see from my intro video. Als ich Italki entdeckte, spezialisierte ich mich auf Zürcherdeutsch und helfe seither Einwanderern bei ihrer Integration in der Schweiz. Das Level variiert dabei von Beginnern bis hinzu Fortgeschrittenen. Aus Mangel an guten Unterrichtsmaterialien habe ich im Verlauf der Jahre meinen eigenen Kurs mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Übungstypen zusammengestellt. Ich biete auch weiterhin Unterricht in Hochdeutsch an und kann eventuell auch bei weiteren Schweizer Dialekten weiterhelfen.
