My goal as a teacher is that you get the most out of the class. How do I want to achieve that? 1) Create a comfortable atmosphere: You have to be relaxed and feel comfortable in order to learn. I will try to create a very comfortable atmosphere so you can concentrate on the lesson. 2) Teaching a fun class: The class should be fun and interesting, that’s when we get the best results. I would love to know about topics that interest you and consider them in my preparation of the class. 3) Speak as much German as possible: You have to get used to the structure, the sound and the rhythm of the language. As someone who used to stutter and dislike languages (and especially the pesky grammar), getting into intense-self-studies to improve my English became my origin story. I worked as teacher for English in my hometown for 2 years afterward, after acquiring a C2 certificate from Cambridge. This encouraged me to also intensely study and re-fresh the German grammar, phonetics and teaching techniques (didactic) before starting to teach it online full-time. (it included a lot of head-shaking, and I’m a native) Through that, and my pursuit to master art I don’t believe in inherited talent, but pursued interest.
