Since my first year at University, I've tutored students in Italian, English and Spanish. I have been working on Italki since 2020 and I had the chance to meet many students and to enrich my didactic methods. In 2021 I enrolled Italki, which made me want to become a professional teacher for foreigners. I am very patient and able to teach students of different ages, with different needs or level. 🗣 My Italian lessons to foreigners are mostly centred around vocabulary and having a conversation in Italian. I try to avoid English, since I believe that is the best way to learn a language in a way that allows us to actually apply it in the daily life. 📚 After an initial lesson we will decide together how to procede following your learning goals: speaking, reading, listening, grammar focus.

At the beginning of each lesson, I'll ask the students if they have any questions from the previous classes or about something they have listened to or seen; only after that we'll start the new lesson! In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.
