I still remember that we had a particular phrase to describe going online 20 years ago, it's "go surfing through the internet". We usually need more skill and courage to go sufing, because the most attractive thing about go surfing is its potential risk. We don't know when there will be a wave creted, and also don't know which direction will the wave moves next. When a child use the internet, they usualy don't know what thay will watch next. The information online just likes the water in a ocean. You never read them all. In that case, a child may like a little fish in a ocean, he don't know where to go, even don'tknow what he is doing. However, sharks definitely exist in the ocean, if he swims into a shark's mouth, what should the little fish do? Though we have heard adults warned us not to read the bad things online 20 years ago,the problem still annoys adults today. Nothing has changed but we are the adults.
