I am happy to offer students a trial lesson enabling you to have an insight as to my teaching style regarding the preparation of the IELTS test and showing you a taste of what to expect in future classes

Your first lesson or trial lesson will include an IELTS speaking test to gauge your level together with a review of the IELTS Band Descriptor to help you understand what is required to reach your desired score.  After that I will offer tips and suggestions to help you achieve your desired score.

I'm here to help students of the IELTS test to get familiarised with the test format delivering one to one instruction on how to reach your desired score, offering constructive feedback and practice sessions.  I have previously taught IELTS in China in a Chinese Training Centre specialising in IELTS.  I now look forward to meeting online students that need assistance in preparation for the test, thus helping them achieve their dream of studying overseas.

These lessons are prepared for by myself and are more structured. We will focus on all aspects of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

General classes

Please note this is an offline service, I will not be in the physical classroom. 
With this service I will review your writing task and:-
1.  Show your mistakes 
2.  Correct your writing 
3.  Give you suggestions on how your writing can be improved 
4.  Explain your vocabulary and grammar mistakes 
5.  Explain and show how you can get a higher band score 

To book this lesson
1.  Please send me a message on italki to let me know you are interested in this service and send me your IELTS writing that you want me to correct.  
2. Book a lesson in my calendar, you can choose any time as it’s not a real lesson as we will not meet in the classroom.  
3.  I will send your correction within 48 hours of your lesson request 
4.  Once you have received my correction, you should confirm with italki that the lesson is complete in order to pay me.  
5.  I will answer any questions you have about the correction, free of charge.

IELTS Writing Corrections (Offline only)

We will start the lesson (online) by having a look at your Task 2 or Task 1 writing and band scoring it with some feedback.  By doing this, we can ascertain what band score you are at and what we need to do to improve it.  
The lesson will also help you to organise each task and I will take you through step by step, helping you to plan an answer and writing each paragraph. We will study example paragraphs, useful template phrases and sentences and strategies to improve your writing. You will also be writing paragraphs in the lesson so that I can give you immediate feedback and guidance.
