This lesson is for learners who want to start learning bahasa Indonesia from zero to reach A2 level. You'll be able to communicate in simple bahasa Indonesia both formal and informal with the locals in some situations (i.e at the resto, at the hospital, at the laundrymart, with the Grab/Gojek driver, etc.). I provide the handouts that I have developed myself so you just need to follow the plan and learn.
Based on my experiences, in 10-15 hours (depending on how fast you learn ), you'll be able to reach the goal.

Bahasa Indonesia for Beginners

This lesson focuses on conversation practices. It is designed to improve learners' speaking skills with some challenging activities such as discussing some topics, role-playing, doing a presentation, or just having a casual conversation. A certain topic will be discussed in each meeting so you can focus on learning specific vocabulary, grammar, and use them in an appropriate context.

If you already master basic bahasa Indonesia and are able to communicate in a simple language in daily conversation, it's time to level up. In this lesson, learners are expected to master bahasa Indonesia in intermediate and advanced levels. It focuses on developing students listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as well as Indonesian grammar and pronunciation in a more challenging topic discussion. Let's learn more about affixes, more complex sentences, how to speak and write more formally, and so on. No need to think twice. Let's continue your bahasa Indonesia learning journey!

This is a workshop about bahasa Indonesia teaching conducted by the Ministry of Education. The participants learned about teaching methodologies, materials development, and teaching practices.
