Since 2013, I am a French teacher at the “French Institute". I have received special training to teach in a fun way while taking into account the psychological constitution of each learner. I am responsible of several classes of foreign students, some with children, some with students and others with adults, from level A1 to B2. I am a DELF / DALF corrector-examiner and authorized to give the TCF (Test de Connaissance en Français). I also give private French lessons online (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype). I recently graduated with DDIFOS (Diplôme Didactique du Français sur Objectif Specific) which allows me to teach French in business companies.

To me it is very important to adapt myself to the student, and to taylor the lesson to their needs. Personally i love input based learning, and learning words and new grammatical structures in context, using stories dialogues, and keeping things fresh and interesting. Pour moi, c'est très important de m'adapter à l'élève et de personnaliser le cours en fonction de ses besoins. Personnellement, j’aime l’apprentissage basé sur l’exposition à la langue, et l’acquisition de nouveaux mots et structures grammaticales en contexte, en utilisant des histoires, des dialogues, en gardant les leçons dynamiques et intéressantes.

Experienced French Tutor - Specialized in conversation & Pronunciation I’ve traveled a lot, and I’ve found that the best way to learn a language is by practicing, by talking to people. Whenever I didn’t know a word, I’d ask someone to spell it out for me. That helped me visualize it and remember it for next time. After studying English for 10 years in school, I thought I was prepared when I arrived in Australia, but I quickly realized I only had the basics, I lacked real communication skills. So, I immersed myself in the language: I spoke with people, read books in English, watched movies, and switched my daily life to “English mode.” That’s how I became fluent. J'aime instaurer un climat de confiance et une ambiance détendue et divertissante en classe. Cela a pour conséquence un apprenant qui ose parler, et qui prend du plaisir à le faire ! Je corrige les erreurs, je suis d'avis qu'en faire c'est très bien ; elles représentent selon moi un tournant essentiel de l'apprentissage. "C'est en forgeant que l'on devient forgeron !" Je n'enseigne pas aux enfants ni aux grands débutants. Mes cours sont adaptés uniquement aux adultes (<18 ans) et aux personnes étant capables de tenir une conversation avec un natif (A2+ minimum).
