As a teacher, my main approach is to adapt to the needs/ wants of the student regarding his/her level but also his/her interests. To me, the most effective way to learn a language is by learning it through our passions , whether it is music, art, culture, etc. But I also think that it is important to learn about the culture surrounding the language we're learning.
