Sono un insegnante dinamico e molto attento alle motivazioni e ai bisogni degli studenti. Parto dalla valutazione del livello di competenza e organizzo l'insegnamento in modo da soddisfare il più possibile lo studente. Ho un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" conseguito presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico. Mi piace spiegare, trovare modi diversi per trasmettere regole e contenuti linguistici e credo soprattutto che l'insegnamento sia un processo cooperativo che avviene tra insegnante e studenti.

Insegnante di italiano con oltre 6 anni di insegnamento Ho studiato per 5 anni latino e greco al liceo, dove la grammatica era al centro dell'attenzione, con l'esperienza ho però capito che per iniziare ad apprendere una nuova lingua (cosa che ho sperimentato con l'inglese e lo spagnolo) è importante avere un ruolo attivo nell'apprendimento. In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.

I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

How can you calculate it? Just divide the total number of lessons a teacher has given by the number of students they’ve taught. For example, if a teacher has done 100 lessons with 10 students, the average is 100 ÷ 10 = 10 lessons per student.
