My studies also led me to learn about the adults' world and their ways of internalizing new information when it comes to foreign languages.During my University study case, I had the chance to design an English course for absolute-beginner seniors, which was revealed to be the litmus test of the approach effectiveness I'd been working on up to then. I prefer to be seen as a facilitator of learning rather than a teacher,for my aim is to support others in their journey of language exploration by providing tools and offering expertise to raise consciousness of the new language system.

La mia specializzazione è l’insegnamento dell’italiano per livelli principianti e base (A1-A2), livelli intermedi (B1-B2) e livelli avanzati (C1-C2). Per tre anni sono stato responsabile per la certificazione di italiano LS PLIDA e ho esperienza nella somministrazione e nella preparazione dell'esame PLIDA, ma anche CILS per tutti i livelli: preparati con me!

I try to be as flexible as possible and adapt to my students' needs. I really believe that motivation is key to learning a language (or anything at all probably). That is why I try to focus on what really interests my students and 'build' on that, whatever it may be – a topic, an objective in the language, a desire to visit a place. That way learning will not feel as something one 'has to' do with all its difficulties but as something one can hopefully enjoy while in the process, while learning things that are relevant to them. So yes, as a joke I that I believe that as in any kind of relationship listening to others and asking them what they wish for is a very good skill in teaching too!

Tengo licenciatura (cum laude) en Filologìa en la Universidad La Sapienza de Roma y conseguí un Doctorado en Lingüística adquisicional del italiano en la Universidad Complutense. Gracias a mis estudios he tenido muchas experiencias de enseñanza. I graduated (cum laude) in Filology from Sapienza University in Rome and I got a PhD in Second Language Acquisition.
