For me learning a foreign language is an amazing experience, not only for reaching fluency itself, but also because it let you immerge in the culture, getting out of your confort zone and expand your orizons. I try to be as flexible as possible and adapt to my students' needs. I really believe that motivation is key to learning a language (or anything at all probably). That is why I try to focus on what really interests my students and 'build' on that, whatever it may be – a topic, an objective in the language, a desire to visit a place. That way learning will not feel as something one 'has to' do with all its difficulties but as something one can hopefully enjoy while in the process, while learning things that are relevant to them. So yes, as a joke I that I believe that as in any kind of relationship listening to others and asking them what they wish for is a very good skill in teaching too!

Living in different countries, I face the everyday exciting challenge of speaking different idioms I use to be a teacher in photography, a teaching experience that helped me developing a personal attitude in let students, and people at large, feeling comfortable at talking with me. This is my main skill in teaching, approaching any lesson, at any level, more like a friendly conversation than an examination!
