I've taught Chinese to children, high school students and adults: in groups (private language school) or one to one. I've also taught Chinese to a group of monks in Laos.

For me learning a foreign language is an amazing experience, not only for reaching fluency itself, but also because it let you immerge in the culture, getting out of your confort zone and expand your orizons. I am a dreamer, I believe in opportunities, Don't give up. I’ve been teaching Italian since 2004, Spanish since 2013, and online since 2017. I have taught in private schools and universities, provided basic literacy training for asylum-seekers, and worked one-on-one with students of all levels from all over the world. I’ve met people from many different cultures, and I’ve learned something new from each one. The most important part of my lessons is focusing on the individual who is learning. I hold a degree in Occupational Psychology. I completed university courses in teaching Italian as a foreign language, and I continue to take refresher courses in online language teaching. I also hold a DELE C2 certification in Spanish.

I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!
