Learning to Learn 

After consonants, the vowel letter pairs а/я, э/е, о/ё, ы/и, and у/ю represent 
essentially the same vowel sound. Their only difference is that the letters in the bottom 
row tell you that the preceding consonant is palatalized, or soft.*

* a palatalized consonant is pronounced with the blade of the tongue pressed up 
against the hard palate, it sounds like a consonant plus the [y] sound of “yes” pronounced at the exact same time.

◎「てしまう」の まとめ
「そのつもりはなかったけど、そうなった、そうした」「そうしようとおもっていたけど、そうならなかった、しなかった」の意味。
そして、文によっては、そこに後悔、残念、こまったっていう気持ちがついてきている!!

〈ことば〉
1)自慢（じまん）げ：自慢する感じ。自慢するようす。
2)カーテン：curtain。光をさえぎる目的などで家の中などにつるす布（ぬの）。
3)デフォルト：default。初めからある/そなわっている動作（どうさ）の設定（せってい）。
 大阪人（おおさかじん）のデフォ･･･会話の中では大阪の人全員が｢そう言います｣という意味で使った。

・牛乳ちょっと入れちゃった。
・全部食べちゃった。全部読んじゃった。
・安くなってたから、この服、買っちゃった！
・これ見て、買っちゃった。いくらだと思う？
