Сегодня Катя хочет приготовить борщ. Борщ – это её любимый суп. Дома есть мясо, но нет овощей. Поэтому она идёт за продуктами в супермаркет. В супермаркете Катя идёт в овощной отдел. Там он берёт картошку, капусту, свёклу,  морковку, помидоры, лук и чеснок. Она выбирает свежие овощи, потому что из хороших овощей можно приготовить вкусный борщ.

идти/ходить  в супермаркет - aller au supermarché
овощной отдел - le rayon des légumes
брать/взять - prendre

In this week's Chillchat Baiwei and Karen discussed Karen's favorite kind of Chinese riddle - 歇后语 (xiē hòu yǔ). Besides explaining what it is, we also listed some fun examples to see how it works.
