В сыром, холодном воздухе, в тесноте и неполной темноте колыхающейся кареты она в первый раз живо представила себе то, что ожидает ее там, на бале, в освещенных залах, — музыка, цветы, танцы, государь, вся блестящая молодежь Петербурга. То, что ее ожидало, было так прекрасно, что она не верила даже тому, что это будет: так это было несообразно с впечатлением холода, тесноты и темноты кареты. Она поняла все то, что ее ожидает, только тогда, когда, пройдя по красному сукну подъезда, она вошла в сени, сняла шубу и пошла рядом с Соней впереди матери между цветами по освещенной лестнице. Только тогда она вспомнила, как ей надо было себя держать на бале, и постаралась принять ту величественную манеру, которую она считала необходимой для девушки на бале. Но, к счастью ее, она почувствовала, что глаза ее разбегались: она ничего не видала ясно, пульс ее забил сто раз в минуту, и кровь стала стучать у ее сердца. Она не могла принять той манеры, которая бы сделала ее смешной, и шла, замирая от волнения и стараясь всеми силами только скрыть его. И это-то была та самая манера, которая более всего шла к ней. Впереди, сзади их, так же тихо переговариваясь и так же в бальных платьях, входили гости. Зеркала по лестнице отражали дам в белых, голубых, розовых платьях, с бриллиантами и жемчугами на открытых руках и шеях.
Наташа смотрела в зеркала и в отражении не могла отличить себя от других. Все смешивалось в одну блестящую процессию.

Tren İstasyonunda / at the Train Station

Like many other grandmothers, Daisy likes to knit, and she isn't very good with technology.

Or, at least, that's what she might tell people on the phone.

Daisy also describes herself as "your worst nightmare." But don't worry, she's not talking to you — she's talking to phone scammers.

That's because Daisy is actually an AI chatbot. She was created by UK phone company Virgin Media O2 to speak to scammers on the phone and make them believe they're talking to a real person.

Older people are very vulnerable to scams. In July, a UK study found that about 67% of people over the age of 75 were victims of at least one scam attempt in the six months before the study — with almost 75% being phone scams.

Enter Daisy, who has been trained to have conversations with phone scammers and waste their time.

Virgin Media O2 worked with Jim Browning, a YouTuber who has spent years "scambaiting" — that is, pretending to be a clueless victim to waste scammers' time.

And that's the whole point — Daisy can't stop scammers, but she can slow them down.

"Whenever she's on the phone with a scammer, your parents, your grandparents, your relatives, are not being scammed," Browning told Sky News.

The company says Daisy is already "wasting hundreds and hundreds of hours of scammers' time," and has shared real-life conversations the chatbot has had with scammers.

Some conversations last nearly an hour. She talks about her cat, Fluffy, and people in her family. In some conversations, she gives the scammers what they want — bank details. But of course, they're not real.

Murray Mackenzie from Virgin Media O2 said Daisy is also a reminder that the person you're speaking to on the phone might not always be who they say they are.

Meet the AI Grandma Wasting Scammers' Time

¡Estamos en el mes de septiembre! y para nosotros los mexicanos no significa nada más que celebración.

Sin duda alguna, una de las festividades mexicanas más reconocidas, ¡la lucha por la Independencia de México! y en la que prácticamente en todos los rincones de la República Mexicana se celebra de una manera muy similar, cada noche del 15 de septiembre.

Arma una barra de dulces mexicanos donde tus invitados puedan deleitarse con un ate, jamoncillos, obleas de cajeta, gelatinas y hasta con un delicioso pan dulce con café de olla, los complementos ideales.

Construye el ambiente de la noche mexicana con banderitas, matracas, silbatos, trompetas, confeti y manteles de tela. El colorido del papel picado le dará un toque súper especial. 

Deja el espacio adecuado para que todos puedan bailar. Un poco de salsa, unas cumbias y hasta algo de banda. Recuerda que no es fiesta, si no hay baile.

 
La comida es necesaria para darle el ambiente de fiesta, prepara todo para armar una verbena popular o una feria de pueblo. Cada invitado puede llevar un platillo y entre tostadas, flautas, pozole, quesadillas y demás antojitos mexicanos pueden armar una mesa de lujo.

 
¿Qué hay más mexicano que la lotería? Compra unas cartas, prepara frijolitos o corcholatas y jueguen toda la noche. Pueden poner castigos con shots de tequila para hacerla más interesante.

El festejo asemeja lo ocurrido durante el famoso “Grito de Dolores”, aquella noche de rebelión, en la que el cura Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, gritó a los cuatro vientos, frente a los congregados a las afueras de su iglesia ubicada en el pequeño pueblo de Dolores, en el Estado de Hidalgo. Esta fecha conmemora el esfuerzo del pueblo mexicano contra la conquista española.

Como verás el objetivo de las familias mexicanas es reunirse, compartir, comer, bailar y pasar una noche muy agradable conviviendo con los suyos.
