I studied and lived in Singapore for a while. It is really different than I lived in Shenzhen China. 1.Many animals can be seen when people go down the street. People and animals get along extremely well, and no one bothers the animals. Other than stray cats, other animals are rarely seen in Shenzhen. The animals are terrified of meeting people. 2. There are numerous food courts. You can enjoy a variety of excellent foods in the food court, which typically costs between 4 and 8 Singapore dollars. The cost is comparable to a fast-food in Shenzhen. If you eat at a restaurant, you must pay tax and the service cost, all fee is higher than Shenzhen. 3.Singapore is a national of internationalization and diversification. This country has a greater diversity of individuals. There are many countries people in here ,such as Singaporeans, Chinese, Malays, Indians, Europeans, Thais etc. Singapore's native language is English.Singaporeans can speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Teochew. I also heard people speaking Cantonese on the street, and the accent is like Hong Kong people. Teochew differs slightly from Chinese Teochew, when I speak Teochew, only Shantou Singaporeans can understand. In Singapore, Mandarin is referred to as ''Huayu,'' they use the some words are different from Chinese. Maybe it is a distinction between Singlish and English. Shenzhen in China is an immigrant city, but most of Shenzhen people speak Mandarin. 4.The service attitude is well. Most of the service staff in Singapore are as patient and enthusiastic as the service of Macau people. 5.Lived in Singapore is not convenient as live in Shenzhen. Such as in Singapore the city center, many shop close very early around six or seven o'clock. Booking takeaway online is expensive. Shenzhen like a never sleeps city, such as if you get off work at 8 Pm also can go to the mall shopping, you can order takeaway at 12'clock in the eventing is no problem.
