I like to film myself talking in my target language and listening over it when I'm done. Watching TV shows and movies in my target language is great as it doesn't feel like work. And if I get the chance to speak to anyone in my target language, i think that's the best way to learn.
However, when speaking to native speakers i think when they stop the flow of conversation to correct me it really throws me off and doesn't actually help. Instead i like it when they find a way to work the correct way of saying what i got wrong into the conversation.
I hope this helped.
