David's answer is good, but you wrote "no sense" not "nonsense". Something makes no sense if it is it illogical or unreasonable.
--Your argument makes no sense.
--Buying a new car makes no sense if you are already in debt.
We also say that a person has no sense if he is foolish.
--George W. Bush has no sense.

We would say that a statement is "nonsense" if we disagree with it: "the Senator's speech is nonsense." different meaning ..senseless meaning: 1. stupid ,2.no target .

They're not exactly the same. Example: Your idea makes no sense. Verses. It's senseless to keep arguing about this, we just don't agree.
