“我相信这个世界存在着无数的可能性” =我相信这个世界存在无数的可能性”.
Somtimes, "着“ is just a charactor that helps to stress a point in a conversation. You don't have to have it. It's like "听着" means the same thing as "听". ”着“ helps to stress the verb "听"。

“着” 是助词(auxiliary word)
1.表示动作正在进行或状态的持续【用在动词后面,宾语前面(如果有宾语的话)】:走着 walking;开着会 in a meeting;吃着午饭 having lunch。
2.表示程度深【用在形容词后面】:好着呢!(very good);凶着呢!(very vicious, have a bad temper)
3.表示祈使【就是让某人做某事,但通常该行为可以延续而不是瞬间完成】:你听着!(you listen and keep doing it)
4.用在某些动词后,使这个动词加上“着”后变成介词:你就照着他的要求办。(just do it by his requirements.)
Let me show you three common auxiliary verbs in Chinese:
着(表示动作正在进行的进行态 to do something/doing something)
了(表示动作已经完成的完成态/something already done)
过(表示动作已经成为过去经历的经历态/something already done in the past)
