Meaning of 'I think I have a speck of dust in my eye.'?
Passage:
2. It’s about Girl Power.
Queen Elsa and Princess Anna fall into the category of do-it-yourself, not-your-mother’s princesses, except when Anna is all moony over Prince Hans.
And even after Elsa accidentally hurts Anna during their reunion, Anna sacrifices herself to save Elsa. Because sisterhood. I’m sorry; I think I have a speck of dust in my eye.

Does the sentence (I have a speck of dust in my eye) mean/imply that 'want to knead one's eyes and want to cry'.
I think the author is joking around trying to imply that s/he is teary eyed but doesn't want to admit it. S/he's getting emotional over the Disney movie and it's embarrassing so they're saying "I have something in my eye". Actually I think when I watched that part of the movie I was pretty touched too I might've cried and come up with a similar excuse :)
