Hi Victoria, Aforementioned is not really archaic but it is highly formal. "Abovementioned" or "above-mentioned" are correct, although I have seen "above mentioned" used on occasion. I find that "previously mentioned" is less clumsy and may not be so confusing if the words appear on the opposite page of a book, rather than literally above the text.
