What is the meaning of " the guitar rag " ? Heard several times about rags in notations to musical pieces. What its second meaning aside of physical damage of something? Thank you.

"Rag" is a musical form (a style of composition). Sylvester Weaver wrote a piece called "Guitar Rag"; perhaps that's what your source are referring to (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylvester_Weaver_(musician)).
