1. A prospect can handle the truck. Strange but possible. In some arrangements, a new employee, or new member could be called a "prospect", short for "propective employee" "propective member" "propective partner" "propective accomlice" A prospect (as in any one of the prospects) can handle the truck. Handle - generic use means "deal with", manage, sometimes able to drive. 2. Okay the fifth dentist caved now they're all recommending Trident? -> what does "fifth dentist caved" mean in this sentence? and what is "Trident"? Trident - a brand of toothpaste the comments say. "to cave in" means to give way, to stop resisting, to agree. 3. A : I so rarely get to practice my meals before I eat them. B : okay, what did we say was your one gift to us? -> I can't understand what B is talking about. This dialogue is from "Friends" https://youtu.be/VVQB_M2f6xM?t=756 The line before is "I'm so glad we're having this rehearsal dinner". It is presumably a rehearsal of some event that they need to practice. The joke is that it is as though they are practicing the eating rather than the sequence of activities. . The next is that they got him to promise that he would not make stupid jokes. Unfortunately he just made a stupid joke. 4. she had every little puff on the shoulder of girls and the dress's completely right. -> what does "puff on the shoulder" mean in this sentence? I'd guess those puffy frilly things that go on the shoulders of girls' dresses. The sentence seems to say that the dresses has the fancy features that were expected.

About the Trident joke, it's a reference to ad about the chewing gum, Trident. The brand had an ad that said "4 out of 5 dentists recommend chewing their sugarless gum" or something along those lines. So when Rachel walked in the room very excited to share some news, Chandler was his usual sarcastic self and asked if the 5th dentist (the 1 out of the 5 dentists in the ad who did not recommend the Trident sugarless gum) finally caved in / gave in to the recommendation of chewing Trident gums. On no.3, so the gang are at the wedding rehearsal for Phoebe and Mike. Chandler and Monica comes in and Chandler throws a sarcastic remark "I so rarely get to practice my meals before I eat them". Wedding rehearsal dinners aren't a thing in my culture, but I reckon it's a bit of practice for what happens the next day (actual wedding day), as well as a dinner with the bride's and groom's practice. So, in Chandler's joke, the wedding rehearsal dinner was = practice for the actual wedding day dinner. And practicing for dinner / to eat sounds a bit ridiculous if you think about it, so he was sarcastically saying "Oh yey, we're practicing to eat (tonight at the wedding rehearsal dinner) before we actually eat (tomorrow at the wedding). That's good because we rarely do that." Insert sarcastic face. And then Phoebe, to remind Chandler that he previously promised her and Mike "no stupid jokes" as a wedding gift to them, asked "Okay, what did you say was your one gift to us?" to get him to stop with this sarcasm and jokes. Hope that helps.

Are you sure these are correct? They sound, at best strange, and at worst a little bit nonsensical? Do you have a link to the original source? I think a but more context is needed for some as well. In 2) the only Trident (capital t) I can think of is the European nuclear arms cash, but that doesn't make sense in conjunction with dentists. Is it from a TV show? Is "dentist" correct? Is it a typo and you meant scientist? 3) is an inside joke of some sort, it may even reference a known behaviour of the character. I don't know enough about friends to get it without more context.
