what is the difference between expedient, expediency and expedience?
they re all nouns but mean different thing. my teacher gave this as an assignment and i cant seem to figure it out! does anyone know the difference. i think you can find out the meaning through the word itself however im not "word-wise". if you know the answer its going to be a big help =))

"expedient" in addition can be an adjective. As a noun "expedient" means some kind of mean for approaching a goal. It could be some method, way or trick.
"expediency" and "expedience" have almost the same meaning. Appropriate synonyms are advisability and practicability. I'm not quite sure but "expediency" is used more often.
