Black tea or red tea? My English teachers told me that 'Black tea' is the correct English usage instead of 'Red tea', but in a daily life, I found that many people also use 'Red tea', including the foreigners. I want to know which one is correct, or both are correct?

British import tea from China and India, they drink with sugar and cream, they call it black tea. Chinese have red tea, white tea and green tea. The red tea that was exported is called black tea by the foreigners. But, in china, the foreigners were told that is red tea, so they call it red tea. But, when they left China, the will call the red tea black tea.
